1997

Launched maternal-fetal medicine and formalized Center for Research, Education, Quality and Safety

Launched online continuing medical education (CME) and continuing nursing education (CNE) for maternal-fetal and newborn community

Introduced continuous quality-improvement (CQI) ​program

2007

Mednax National Medical Group founded; 100,000 Babies large-scale neonatal quality-improvement campaign launched

Patient Safety Organization formed

2015

Telemedicine organization acquired

2016

100,000 Babies published in Pediatrics, showing improved outcomes and cost savings; CREQS received third accreditation from ACCME
