The Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, Idaho recently celebrated their annual NICU Harvest Party with about 130 neonatal intensive care unit graduates who came dressed in costume. MEDNAX-affiliated neonatologist, Dr. Stewart Lawrence, said that it’s one of his favorite days of the years as he gets to see how the former patients have grown since graduating. He and the NICU staff care for an average of 450 to 500 infants each year. After a long journey with the families, Dr. Lawrence tells them he looks forward to seeing them in the future.
