The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office issued two new patents for vRad that will help facilitate standardization and workflow techniques. Patent No. 9,519,753, “Radiology Workflow Coordination Techniques,” allows clinical staff to improve image display characteristics, supplement incomplete study data and link comparison images with the study. Patent No. 9,542,481, “Radiology Data Processing Standardization Techniques,” uses automated mapping algorithms to synthesize data from any number of facilities, streamlines workflow and allows radiologists to access accurate clinical histories quickly.
