Dr. Duncan received his medical training at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, followed by a general surgery internship at Letterman Army Medical Center in San Francisco, California. He returned to Baylor for his otolaryngology head and neck surgery residency and completed his pediatric otolaryngology fellowship at Seattle Children’s Hospital in Seattle, Washington and the Royal Alexandra Hospital for Children in Sydney, Australia.
Dr. Duncan served on active duty in the United States Army at the Presidio of San Francisco, Frankfurt, West Germany, and Tacoma, Washington. He was Chief of Service and Residency Program Director at Madison Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington. He left active duty as a lieutenant colonel.
Subsequently, he joined the Pediatric Otolaryngology faculty of Texas Children’s Hospital before co-founding Children’s ENT of Houston.
Dr. Duncan is married and has two daughters and three grandchildren. He enjoys fly fishing and alpine activities in the Rocky mountains and Washington State.
