Out of an abundance of caution and concern for the health of our patients and employees, Children’s Urology Associates no longer allows guests to accompany patients into our practices for their appointments. In addition, our practices have implemented a new screening process to minimize risk to patients and employees. We ask that all patients arrive early for their appointments to accommodate this screening process.
Thank you for your understanding, as the safety of our patients and employees is our utmost priority. Together we can stop the spread of coronavirus. Learn how to protect yourself and others at the CDC COVID-19 resource webpage. Children’s Urology Associates has been providing pediatric urology services in South Florida since 1999. Our clinical team includes five pediatric urologists, three nurse practitioners and a physician assistant who work collaboratively to treat, manage and provide quality, family-friendly urological care.
Our team sees patients at five locations, including Miami, Pembroke Pines, Boca Raton, Kendall and Aventura. We offer diverse training and decades of experience to treat more common urology issues as well as provide complex care for conditions that may be rare or require surgical intervention. Several of our providers and staff are Spanish-speaking.
We work closely with Nicklaus Children’s Hospital where we provide videourodynamic studies and biofeedback therapy. We are able to perform renal and bladder ultrasounds in all of our office locations except Aventura.
Our team treats a number of voiding conditions, including:
- Daytime wetting
- Nocturnal enuresis or bedwetting
- Urinary frequency
- Urinary urgency
We use a multi-faceted approach to treat voiding disorders, which centers on positive behavioral modification to retrain the bladder and bowel to function properly. Occasionally, medication to relax the bladder may be used in combination with timed voiding, proper hygiene and positive reinforcement. Our PA and NPs run specialty incontinence clinics that are focused on restoring your child’s bladder health.
