Dr. Olabiyi graduated from Southwest Baptist University with a bachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry. He received his medical degree from the University of Missouri in Kansas City. While in medical school, he spent a year performing cardiovascular outcomes research at St. Luke's Hospital. Dr. Olabiyi completed his general pediatric residency at Children's Mercy Hospital and Clinics, which is affiliated with the University of Missouri. He completed his fellowship in pediatric cardiology at Texas Children's Hospital, Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Following fellowship, Dr. Olabiyi joined Pediatric Cardiology Associates in 2013. Dr. Olabiyi serves as adjunct assistant professor at University Health Systems in San Antonio.
His professional interests include inpatient pediatric cardiology and non-invasive imaging. He has a particular interest in the single ventricle program and transition of cardiology care from pediatric to adult.
Dr. Olabiyi’s personal interests include traveling, sports, music, and reading. He also has a passion for international medical mission work. His wife is a project portfolio manager and they have four wonderful children.
