Dr. Leslie is a native-Texan who grew up in Brownwood, Texas. He attended and graduated from Abilene Christian University with a degree in Biology. More importantly, he met his wife (Tiffany) there, in the chemistry lab no less! He then completed his M.D. at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA). He then completed three years of General Surgery Residency, followed by four years of Urology Residency at UTHSCSA. He and Tiffany (and a couple of children by then) then moved to Indianapolis for two years, where he completed a Pediatric Urology Fellowship with Indiana University at the J.W. Riley Hospital for Children. At this point, he and Tiffany had three biological children, and they returned to San Antonio where he began practice in pediatric urology with UTHSCSA. He was on faculty at UTHSCSA for five years before joining Dr. Prieto in private practice with San Antonio Pediatric Surgery Associates. Around this time, he and Tiffany adopted two siblings (8 & 12) from Haiti. Dr. Leslie, Dr. Prieto and Dr. Marks then separated from San Antonio Pediatric Surgery Associates in the fall of 2017 to form Pediatric Urology of San Antonio.
Dr. Leslie has had many hobbies and passions outside of medicine in the recent past, including golf, cycling, Ironman triathlons, hunting and, more recently and commonly, amateur taxi driver for five kids! He and Tiffany have been happily married for 23+ years and are actively involved in their church.
Dr. Leslie sees children with all pediatric urological issues but has special interest and expertise in the surgical and medical management of neurogenic bladder and bowel. He performs endoscopic, open, laparoscopic and robotic surgical procedures as indicated. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Urology and is sub-specialty certified in Pediatric Urology by the American Board of Urology.
