Dr. Major-Kincade, board certified in pediatrics and neonatal-perinatal medicine, received her medical degree from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Medicine/Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science. She completed her pediatric residency at the University of Texas Southwestern at Dallas/Children's Medical Center. She completed her neonatal-perinatal fellowship training at the University of Texas Southwestern at Dallas and the University of Texas Houston School of Medicine.
Her research interests include long-term follow up and quality of life of high-risk infants, discharge planning for preterm infants, ethical decision-making in the NICU and physician-parent communication.
Dr. Major-Kincade is married and has two children. Her hobbies include traveling with her family, reading, writing and teaching skincare.
