Dr. Morita grew up in Portland, Oregon. She moved to Seattle to complete her undergraduate degree in Linguistic Anthropology at the University of Washington. Before medical school, she spent time training and working a search-and-rescue dog. She then earned her medical degree at the University of Washington. She moved to Salt Lake City to complete her residency at the University of Utah. She was a faculty member of the University of Utah School of Medicine from 2008 to 2014 before moving into private practice.
Dr. Morita's mission is to provide high-quality, accessible pediatric neurology care to patients and be an available resource for providers in our region. She is a general neurologist, providing evaluation and management of a variety of neurological symptoms and disorders for patients from birth to 18 years old. In addition to working with patients and their families, she loves dogs and the outdoors.
