All patients and guests are required to wear a mask for the duration of the appointment. In addition, our practices have implemented a new screening process to minimize risk to patients and employees. We ask that all patients arrive early for their appointments to accommodate this screening process.
Thank you for your understanding, as the safety of our patients and employees is our utmost priority. Together we can stop the spread of coronavirus. Learn how to protect yourself and others at the CDC COVID-19 resource webpage..

A maternal-fetal medicine (MFM) specialist, also known as a perinatologist, is a specialist in obstetrics and gynecology with advanced training in the management of high-risk pregnancies due to medical risks to the mother or fetus. An MFM specialist cares for pregnant women with chronic conditions, such as high blood pressure or diabetes, and monitors women who develop complications, such as early labor, during pregnancy. An MFM specialist may also be involved in the care of women expecting twins, triplets or more. Our MFM specialists can act as consultants or primary care providers, delivering services such as advanced ultrasound and genetic consultation, and may be involved in planning and care from the time a woman is considering pregnancy through the growth and development of her family.
An advanced practitioner, including perinatal nurse practitioners, nurse practitioners, and certified nurse midwives, may also assist in the management of a high-risk patient. In collaboration with our MFMs, the advanced practitioner may be available to answer patient questions and provide care and education during office visits. Some of our advanced practitioners also assist our physicians in the hospital with procedures, diagnoses, and inpatient management of the critically-ill pregnant woman.
If your baby requires neonatal consultation before delivery or specialized care after delivery, or is sent to the neonatal intensive care unit, our practice can arrange for a consultation with one of our neonatologists. We can also schedule an appointment with a pediatric cardiologist or developmental pediatrician before or after birth if necessary. Our integrated model of medicine, involving maternal-fetal specialists, neonatologists, and specialty pediatricians, allows for seamless communication and care among physicians for you and your child.
Our OB hospitalist team is integrated with our Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialist. Our dedicated and skilled OB clinicians are in the hospital 24/7 to ensure consistent, timely care for every patient entering the labor and delivery unit or obstetrical emergency department. OB hospitalists are board-certified physicians in obstetrics and gynecology. An OB hospitalist is a physician dedicated to caring for pregnant women exclusively in the hospital setting. OB hospitalists improve patient safety in part by preventing unattended deliveries and allowing for swifter emergent treatment. Their presence improves outcomes, reduces wait times, and increases patient satisfaction. Some local hospitals use our OB hospitalist team as an extension to your obstetrician if he or she is unavailable. Our OB hospitalist team is available 24 hours per day seven days a week, and in the event of an emergency, they have the ability to assess and treat a patient requiring immediate care, including delivery.
