Sue earned her bachelor's degree in nursing from Goshen College in Goshen, Indiana, in 1978, and completed her master's degree through the Arizona State University Women's Health Care Nurse Practitioner program in 2000. She joined Phoenix Perinatal Associates in 2000. Sue is licensed by the Arizona State Board of Nursing and has met the requirements for certification as a Women's Health Care Nurse Practitioner by the National Certification Corporation. Sue has 21 years of hospital experience including high-risk obstetrics, postpartum, labor & delivery, OB triage and well newborn care. Her special interests include postpartum depression and patient education, and she has written an article about Group B Strep screening that was published in a nursing journal.
Sue is married with two daughters and lives in Phoenix.
