Regional Obstetric Consultants is committed to you and your baby’s health during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak in North Florida. With your health in mind, we wanted you to be aware of the following for your future appointment at our office:
Effective May 26, 2020, our Downtown Baptist Pavilion will reopen and resume normal business hours for patient care. Our two ambulatory offices, Bartram Park and Southpoint, will resume normal hours of operation from 8am-4pm (Monday-Thursday) and 8am-12pm (Friday).
In accordance with CDC recommendations for social distancing, visitors are not allowed to attend your appointment. In order to limit your exposure to others, when you check into our Bartram Park and Southpoint offices for your appointment, you will be asked to wait in your car or outside until your exam room is prepared for you. You will be contacted by phone when it is time for you to come inside for your appointment. In addition, our offices have implemented a screening process to minimize risk to patients and employees. Please bring a face mask to your appointment to help us conserve PPE for health-care providers. We ask that all patients arrive early for their appointments to accommodate this screening process. At our Downtown office, patients will be screened at the hospital entrance and upon arrival to our office. Our waiting rooms have been arranged to comply with social distancing guidelines. We are sanitizing all of our offices, exam tables and equipment between patients and we ask for your patience as we prepare a safe space for your visit.
We encourage you to follow recommendations to stay home as much as possible and practice social distancing. Our goal is always to provide the safest and most comprehensive care to our high-risk pregnant patients. We will continue teaming up with your primary OB provider and our hospitals to ensure the safest practices possible through COVID-19.
Thank you for your assistance and understanding.
