About Us

San Antonio Pediatric Surgery Associates (SAPSA) was founded in 1999 with the purpose of delivering the most modern state-of-the-art pediatric general and thoracic surgery available in San Antonio and south Texas. Since its inception, SAPSA has grown into a multidisciplinary pediatric surgical practice to include seven fellowship trained pediatric surgeons, two pediatric plastic and craniofacial surgeons, and three pediatric urologists, all of whom are committed to the highest possible standards of excellence in the surgical care of infants, children and adolescents.

Our surgeons act as a team, utilizing a multidisciplinary approach to the diagnosis and management of each patient’s surgical disorder. Our pediatric surgeons are board certified in pediatric surgery and experienced in the management of both common and rare surgical diseases of children. Our surgeons have lectured and published extensively in the field of pediatric surgery and we currently engage in clinical research in order to improve the surgical treatment of children worldwide.
