Danielle attended University of Maine at Orono where she received her bachelor’s degree in nursing and Frontier Nursing University where she received her Master of Science in Nursing specialized in Women's Health. She is board certified as a women's health nurse practitioner. After completing her bachelor's degree, Danielle traveled to South Africa on a nursing mission trip caring for women and children. She then completed the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) perinatal new graduate registered nurse program and worked high-risk labor and delivery for over four years at UCLA and in Denver, Colorado. She is a strong advocate for promoting women and fetal health, quality of life, and ensuring that the patient fully understands her condition and plan of care. Specific areas of interest include: patient education, preterm labor prevention, hypertension, diabetic education and management, as well as nutrition counseling.
