Program Benefits

Compassion, dedication and knowledge are fundamental when caring for children requiring surgical procedures. Our pediatric surgeons provide early detection, diagnoses and treatment plans to children with surgical needs.

Prenatal consultation
The 20-week prenatal ultrasound can be a joyous occasion for soon-to-be parents. When abnormalities are encountered, our experienced pediatric surgeons collaborate with obstetricians and maternal-fetal medicine specialists to create a comprehensive prenatal care plan. Partnering with hospital-based specialists, our surgeons consult with expectant families and coordinate efforts with the labor and delivery team and neonatal intensive care unit.

Collaborative, team-based approach
Our pediatric surgeons routinely collaborate with pediatric subspecialists and primary care providers to share knowledge and determine the best treatment option for each child’s unique needs. Throughout each step of the process, they actively involve family members, primary care physicians and other health care team members to achieve optimum outcomes.

Provide high-quality care
Delivering evidence-based care built on a framework of robust quality improvement support is the key to positive patient outcomes. Comprehensive evaluations and patient-centered, compassionate care ensure thorough diagnosis and timely treatment.
